Mleczarskie Wola

The plant at ul. Redutowa 9/23 in the Wola district was one of the largest dairy plants in Poland when it opened. It was built in about 18 months, with technological start-up on 1 November 1975 and full capacity from 15 March 1976.

The dairy technology came from the Norwegian company Landteknikk A/L. Production, tanker reception, hygienic zones and technical installations were brought together in a single plant, with the building designed around the process equipment and the flow of goods. Milk was received from road tankers, stored in a bank of silo tanks and filled into bottles and foil pouches on dedicated lines.

Danone leased the plant from 1992 and took it over in 1994. Production ended around 2015, and the production halls were demolished in 2021. The office building at Redutowa 9 still stands.
