InnovaMar Frøya

InnovaMar was built for SalMar at Kverva, Frøya in 2010: 17,500 square metres housing slaughtering, processing and the group’s head office in a single facility. The waters outside hold some of Norway’s densest farming areas, and the building was placed on the quay. Live fish are received there, and the packed goods are loaded onto trucks at the opposite end of the plant. The facility set a new standard for what a salmon plant could be.
